Liked: What a wonderful site! Very well maintained with lovely ponds, excellent sized pitches and lovely quirky toilets. Very quiet and peaceful. Fabulous walks in woodlands, along the canal and around the meres - all accessible from the site and suitable for mobility scooter. Look forward to returning next year. A credit to owners Dave and Ingrid!

Liked: Lovely serene site on gorgeous grounds. Lots of lovely plots for camping. Clean showers and toilets. Good amenities. Lovely owners. Lots of lovely local walks right from the campsite. Second time visiting and will definitely be back next summer.

Liked: The site is very peaceful and the owners have added lots of thoughtful touches. It's an amazing place....I didn't even care that I couldn't get a mobile signal

Liked: This place is a definite must stay. The hosts ,Ingrid and Dave are so friendly and hard working. The toilet facilities are kept spotless by the energetic and hardworking Ingrid . Dave comes around doing recycling , dropping off firepits and keeps the bins empty. As for the camp itself, great sized pitches , level ground for tents and separated by a few bushes from other campers. Bring a torch as the the camp is extremely dark. We will definitely be coming here again, everyone is so friendly, we had to leave early so never got to say bye to Em, but hopefully we will run into each other soon.

Liked: Everything was ready spotlessly clean and more than expected. Fridge in accommodation was perfect. Being close to the lake/canal was lovely for walks into ellesmere.
The communal kitchen area was a lovely way to meet people and share different ideas.
The toilets and showers were always clean and fresh towel always available to dry hands.Disliked: None.
