Came from the SWCP, Very warm welcome, everything’s a little slopy but managed to find a good spot. Toilets and showers are good although it’s compost toilets, which was absolutely fine for me. No long walking distances, had a goods night sleep.

Lovely relaxing vibe at this site. Eco friendly, campfires and beautiful view out over Bude. Great if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

Easy access for the coastal path and to Bude via the canal. Nice, quiet and remote making for a nice stay.

Fire pits readily available and picnic table was very handy for us with just a tent!

Lady working the campsite was obviously very hardworking and back and forth seeing to the facilities constantly however we did not realise she was the owner until we noticed her doing this. Called on arrival and told to pitch anywhere which was fine but have been used to a more hands on approach. People were mostly friendly and well behaved but several playing music and no one to police it- had ear plugs so not a bother once they were in and didn’t seem to go on late. Showers and toilets were not for me but I should have done some more research- it became evident people had been emptying toilet waste into the toilets hence why they were full. Looked forward to the veggie patch and greeting the animals but no veg to harvest. Could see the horses in a field further along. Cats were cute but wouldn’t leave us alone when eating.
