Lovely site, toilet and shower blocks clean and modern. Shop and cafe on site excellent. Lovely pub and restaurant on site.

Shower blocks could do with additional mop and buckets for visitors to give a quick clean up after using facilities. Sometimes left muddy and unclean. This is due to lazy visitors not site staff.

Bathrooms were clean, showers were hot. The restaurant Lairds inn had amazing food.. make sure to make reservations well in advance! The little shop had anything we forgot. Short walk into the local town.. not much there though. Overall really great place to stay

Should have been an ATM on site for the kids to be able to play in the arcade, the shop didn't have an ATM and doesn't do cash back either. Pool tables are warped on edges but we still had fun playing. The closest bank machine is a 4 mile drive to the next town.
Advertised fishing but the pond is well overgrown and this was a disappointment as one of the reasons we booked this spot. Wood bought from the shop isn't dried, so very hard to burn. Don't waste your money on it.

Beautiful campsite, with plenty to explore inside the estate and out. The pitches were the best we’ve used in our trip, every motorhome pitch is level and gravelled, also fully serviced. Amazing facilities with great toilet/shower blocks (heated and with great showers), some big enough for families (making it easier with young kids). They have a mini shop with food essentials, sweets, games, and plenty of activities from poops to mini golf available. The castle is beautiful and the pub seems great too (although we didn’t use it). Beautiful fields for walks and playing with the kids. We’ll definitely return.

Waste bins overflowing everywhere, they should get them emptied more often. Cleaning in the toilet blocks should be more often too, as there is a lot of mud around, it gets really nasty.

We had a great time here. The children loved the park and loved the animals/wildlife that were around to see. Toilets/showers were clean and modern. Friendly staff

The indoor pool water was very cold. Unfortunately, our daughter is allergic to cold so couldn’t stay in longer than a few minutes but other than this we had a great few days away.

We loved our stay at Castle Cary! Electric tent pitch in a beautiful location, fantastic toilet facilities so clean and modern, kids loved the park and donkeys! We didn’t use the pool as we were camping in March, but will come back in warmer months!

The pitch was lovely and spacious, located in its own little private nook. Toilets and showers were very clean. Lovely camp for dog walking, local cafe and restaurant offers great food and service.

Nothing will definitely be returning. Only comment is the site WiFi does not work no matter where on the site you are.

Wow- from arrival meeting Donald the night warden to eating in the Lairds Inn we had a wonderful stay. I am astounded at how friendly everyone was on this site. The food at the Lairds was amazing, drinks fabulous and staff remarkable. Made us feel so welcome even our dog. Facilities excellent too. I wish we had booked longer here. I really will be coming back in Summer. I am so happy we found this site, hats off to everyone here! Thank you
