We pitched on an incline but that is the beauty of the Derbyshire dales.

Site easy to find. Owner very welcoming. Pitch pretty level no need for chocks! Electric hook up and water provided. Hot showers and toilets available 24 hours a day. Site clean and well maintained. Key fob provided so you can come and go as you please. Great security feature too. Looking forward to staying there again next year. Great for families, couples and solo travellers. A dog friendly site.

i could not recommend this site highly enough ,it really is very clean ,very quite and very friendly.has plenty of dog walks and not too far from town for food shopping .
we would like to thank amanda for all her help and tips a very happy manager always willing to assist.

We liked the facilities which gave us a full service pitch. Our motor mover stopped working, due our leisure battery giving up the ghost. They came to our rescue and located our caravan and set it up for us.
The people we met on site were absolutely fab. John and Pat who long term residents gave us some good tips where to eat and visit.
The staff were very helpful.

The shop was a bit sparse for all year seasonal pitches being on site.
Basics like pink and blue were not sold in the shop.
The lack of a washing machine was a shame.
The shower block although looking tired was suffice for our needs, but not really suitable for the disabled.

The tent pitches where probably the biggest I've ever camped on, and the pitch itself was kept as well as a bowling green, the ground was beautifully soft and the entire site was immensely clean and tidy, the bathroom and showers couldn't have been any cleaner and the staff as pleasant as could be. The fishing was unbelievable, almost impossible not to catch and the other guests on site where pleasant and respectful, looking forward to my next visit (hopefully soon)

Lovely quiet secure site, well maintained level pitches , friendly staff.

Toilets not cleaned often enough, no toilet brushes, toilet paper all over wet floor.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Clean toilets and showers. Easy and secure access. Big pitches. Lovely setting. (Not that we used them) but there was a good little shop on site and takeaways do deliver.
