Quiet, clean campsite

Showers could have had stronger water pressure

Nice large pitches, fully serviced which we weren't expecting.

Toilet block clean but a bit scruffy

Felt very remote and quite, even thou you only really 10 minutes or so away from what ever you could need. Nice clean and tidy site and shower block. Helpful staff and little shop. The fishing was really good too

This campsite is in a beautiful spot.
The pitches are spacious and well maintained. Plenty of electric points in sensible positions and water taps too. The showers were lovely in the ladies, really hot with good water pressure.

I disliked a couple of things but it wouldn't be enough to put me off staying again. There wasn't really enough toilets or showers, we had to queue every morning for both. I would hate to go when its really busy. My husband said the showers in the mens weren't great. The shower in the ladies was lovely but the shower area was a bit ropey and the tray didn't drain that well.
The site is in Derbyshire. Which has hills. The campsite is on a hill. In the caravan it was fine as we could level through with what we had but my sister was in a tent which is never great on a sloping site but unavoidable and nothing the campsite owners can change.

Super site friendly staff. Great lakeside location.

Brilliant place ideal for young and old alike, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, every thing you need is on site can't fault the place

Very friendly and accommodating with our extended family also in a tent and lodge. Great for the grandchildren who had plenty of space to play.

Good facilities, clean and tidy , very friendly staff . Very much a family site , it has a well stocked mixed fishing lake with good size fish . Its very central to most main attractions about 20 min to 30 min drive .

There was WiFi on site but didn't reach camping field .
