    We had a fantastic stay. True camping at its best. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and the guy was extremely friendly and helpful. We all had great fun on the lake with the paddle-boards, fishing and swimming, the dogs also loved being able to swim freely and the kids loved being able to hang their hammock amongst the trees and lay back with a reading book. Being able to have the firepit to cook on was also fantastic. We would definitely recommend and I’m pretty sure we will be back.

    Absolutely everything about this place. The views, the lake, the pitches the peace and quiet. I honestly didn't want to come home and can't wait to visit again.

    I love the fact you feel totally off grid and have no showers etc. Portaloo was clean, had loo roll and hand sanitizer.

    There was a mini festival on the night we arrived, which was quite loud but didn't ruin the weekend at all.

    Everything, the scenery is fantastic. The pitches are big. Alan is a nice polite guy whom showed us to our pitch. Definitely will be returning in the next few weeks. And will probably be our permanent future returning site.
    Disliked: 

    The main street entrance track was over grown and caused some significant scratches down the side of my car and will cost to be buffed out. If you have a low vehicle then please be aware.
