Liked: Absolutely outstanding, excellent customer service with a friendly smile. We felt so welcome and apart of the family. They have a wonderful off lead dog field, the best toilet blocks we’ve ever used on a campsite. Everything was so clean and neat, just what you want on a campsite. Thank you for the best stay, definitely recommend!
We did the red walk, it was overgrown in areas and a farmer had put a big machinery thing in the way of the foot path, so that was hard to walk around but the views were stunning, the hill is very steep and on a hot day it was challenging but still enjoyed it fully! The walk back on the road is short but doesn’t have a path so with dogs it can be a tad dangerous when cars went past.
The 4g/5g work great, didn’t need to use the WiFi but they do offer it.
It’s a lovely intimate site with a games room with pool table!

Liked: Friendly owners. Small, quiet site. Very good, clean facilities. Good farm shop on doorstep- unfortunately the cafe is no longer open. Excellent walks if you don’t mind the hills. 3 pubs within walking distance- tried them all- all good in their own way. We stayed for two weeks so had a fairly good feel for the site.
Disliked: Slight noise from road outside but overall not too intrusive.
