Fantastic spot! Loved the clean site, modern loos, and super helpful staff (they speak German too!). Close to shops, beach, and nice and quiet with good Wi-Fi. Pitches are neat gravel, but can be a bit close and might need more shade. Gate closes early.

Liked Tolle saubere Plätze mit Kies. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Hier wird auch deutsch gesprochen. Sauberes Sanitär
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe. Nicht weit zum Strand und zur Promenade.
Umgeben von schönen Villen.

Disliked Der Weg zum Strand ist nicht so schön da man durch einige Baustellen durch muss. Hier entstehen weitere Hochhäuser. Der alte Teil von Calpe ist der schöne Teil aber weit zu laufen.

Liked Der Campingplatz war einfach super! Die Sanitäranlagen wie Toiletten, Duschen und der Abwaschbereich waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Auch das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachts war es ruhig.
Es handelt sich um einen kleinen, feinen Campingplatz, der sich sowohl für eine Übernachtung als auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt bestens eignet.
Die Ortschaft Calpe selbst sowie der Strand sind ebenfalls sehr einladend. Es gibt viele Restaurants und schöne Möglichkeiten, den Urlaub zu genießen.
Ein rundum gelungener Platz zum Urlaub machen – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Local attractions

To get out on the rock, it’s a five-minute drive or a half-hour walk to the start of the Ifac Natural Park peninsula. If you fancy hiking to the top, head out before the sun gets too high; the views will be worth the early start. And around the peak, the park is full of walking trails through a dense and scented Mediterranean scrubland of juniper, lavender and white pines, visited by falcons and cormorants. Calpe can rightly be smug about its second natural wonder too: the saltwater lagoon just behind the beach makes a fine spot for sunset walks, tinged an extra shade of pink by the crowds of flamingos. For more hikes at height and nature spotting, it’s half an hour to the Serra Gelada Natural Park, whose 1,300-foot cliffs plunge right into the sea and whose protected zone extends far under it, making a paradise for snorkelers and scuba diving. Benidorm, also half an hour away, has a massive spread of family activities, from thrill rides at Terra Mitica theme park, flumes and slides and waves at a pair of waterparks and a Noah’s Ark-load of exotic beasts at its two zoos.
