Have a try of Camping 3 Estrellas for a Spanish stay, set in a pine forest next to a beach with over 10km of coastal promenade – but only 12km from the ancient sights and more sands of Barcelona (there's excellent bus access into the city too). For days when you're not city sightseeing, Camping 3 Estrellas has laid on all you might need to stay put: swimming pools, a restaurant serving fresh local food, a supermarket with fresh and frozen produce plus souvenirs, and a five-a-side football pitch as well as courts for tennis, basketball and pétanque. (There's a volleyball court on the beach too.) Amenities are also well sorted, with modern loo and shower blocks with free hot water, and a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. Camping 3 Estrellas has high-speed wifi in all its facilities areas, and if you want to leave the laptop at home, computers with internet access are in the bar.

Liked Fairly standard pitch but small
Showers /:toilet were ok Shop not fully stocked but was low season and decent laundry average price.

Disliked Pitch was too small for 7.8mt van we had to shoe horn in diagonally.
The site needs more security especially when catering to groups and serve alcohol...we witnessed fights and shouting abuse...we also had our outside mat stolen. Complaint made and acknowledged but mo action taken...
No one mentioned the airport and planes taking off every 20 minutes till midnight. The van vibrated at times...
Not easy to access the beach via a 3mt Hugh fence and one way gate...
Site also next to very busy motorway

Disliked Narrow roads between pitches and tight turns so difficult to manoeuvre around site and into pitches.Signage not clear to different areas. Wire fence and metal barred gate between site and beach made it feel like a prison camp . Cars parked in the pitches we were directed to , only managed to park up at third attempt!Unable to use toilet and shower block between 8:40am and 10:30am due to deep cleaning being done !!! Prime usage time so absolutely ridiculous.We basically paid 34€ for a nights parking as couldn’t use the facilities!!

From Barcelona, follow Ronda de Dalt (B20) in the direction of the airport. Take the C-31 in the direction of Castelldefels, exit at Gavà Mar (on the left along the beach with a viaduct over the C-31). Then take the third right-hand turning and follow the directions back to Barcelona to reach the site.

Camping 3 Estrellas has plenty of sights to see and things to do when not in Barcelona, like a children's farm and riding school offering lessons a kilometre from the site, and 10km of coastal promenade accessible from the beach next to the site: walk, jog or skate along here by day and go in the evening for dinner and drinks against a backdrop of Spanish sunset. Famed centre the Catalan Olympic Canal of Catalonia is just five minutes away, a highly popular spot for Spanish watersports like sailing, kitesurfing, canoeing and kayaking, and for land-based activities like cycling, archery and pitch and putt; many courses are available for all ages. Fancy neither land nor sea? Have a go at paragliding from here instead.
