How could you possibly resist the temptation of parking up at a peaceful farm 20 minutes’ drive away from Lake Bled? Surrounded by the hills and forests of the Upper Carniola region, Camperstop pr'Stroj is just the spot for getting out to forest trails and woodland walks (directly from the site, no less). There are also plenty of chances to go biking, walking and fishing after a short drive to Slovenia’s famed glacial lake.
The small-scale site – tiny, some might say – is a peaceful, dog-friendly place in a rural setting without commercial resort amenities. The simple amenities cover practical matters, extending to communal wooden shower cubicles and toilets. The site is also an excellent spot for anglers, as it has good access to local fishing waters.
There are a couple of restaurants within 15 minutes’ walk of the site. However, a larger selection of amenities is in Naklo, five minutes’ drive away, or Kranj, 15 minutes’ drive away. Kranj is the fourth-largest city in Slovenia, so you may want to think about looking around the old town and river canyon while you’re there. The capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana, is only a 35-minute drive away, too.

- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
