Liked Grandioser Blick!!! Wir hatten eigentlich einen anderen Stellplatz gebucht, haben uns aber dann spontan für diesen entschieden, da dieser einen Pool hat. Am Ende waren wir nicht im Pool, sondern im Meer, weil wir direkt oberhalb der Sonnenschirme einen Stellplatz hatten :-) Auch wenn sie von unserer Pitchup-Buchung Nix wussten, hatten sie einen Platz für uns. Der Platz sieht aus als wäre er im Wiederaufbau- ein Teil ist abgesperrt, bei dem man verfallene Häuser sieht.

Disliked Sehr kleiner Sanitärbereich, aber sauber!

Local attractions

You won’t be short of things to do off-site. For an insight into Calabrian history, head inland to the ancient fortress of Castello di Santa Severina (50 minutes’ drive), which has views to the sea from its sturdy hilltop ramparts. Back down on the coast, the Parco Archeologico di Capo Colonna (20 minutes) is scattered with Ancient Greek columns, temple fragments and the stone foundations of former houses. There’s more local heritage to be found at Le Castella (25 minutes), where you can climb the towers and ramble around courtyards at the waterside Castello Aragonese. If you’ve had your fill of culture for the day, go scuba diving and snorkelling in the pristine waters of the Capo Rizzuto Marine Protected Area, or treat the kids to tree-top rope courses at Orme nel Parco (90 minutes) in Sila National Park. Fancy a lazy day? Spend a couple of hours on the sandy beach at Crotone (half an hour) and then stroll along the seafront Passerella del Lungomare to the marina and have a drink in one of the many waterside bars.
