Liked A lovely, warm welcome from two fantastic hosts. Cold craft beers available on arrival , spacious pitches with great views. Some amazing forest walks leading to Roman roads through gorges and rocky outcrops nearby. Clean showers and toilets. A highlight for us was discovering the beautiful cafe Denat a short walk from the campsite selling local craft beers and with heaps of atmosphere and a decent menu. Loved being woken up by hedgehogs rummaging around our tent!

Liked Nous sommes arrivés par hasard dans ce charmant camping, très calme, très bien placé au pied du mont Outheran, entouré de montagnes.
L'environnement est très arboré, très nature, et une attention particulière est portée à l'intimité et à l'expérience des usagers.
L'accueil est d'une gentillesse et d'une attention exceptionnelles.
Équipements de qualité, propreté irréprochable.

Liked Il camping è piccolo è ben curato, i dettagli mostrano che i gestori (sempre gentili e disponibili!) conoscono bene la vita da campeggio. La filosofia è quella di godere la natura e la tranquillità. Non sono presenti animazione, piscina, ristorante, ma c'è una bellissima area comune con tavolini e sedie, due tavoli con panche di legno, tutto quello che serve per una piccola cucina, un calciobalilla, libri, diversi giochi di società o da usare all'aperto. Solo nella zona comune è disponibile anche la connessione wi-fi gratuita. Le piazzole sono spaziose e ben ombreggiate, inoltre sono circondate da una siepe di abeti che ci ha ben protetto nelle notti di vento. L'acqua potabile è disponibile in diversi punti. I bagni (rinnovati l'anno scorso, credo) sono in assoluto i migliori che abbia mai trovato per organizzazione e pulizia.

Disliked Non c'è veramente nulla di cui mi possa lamentare, ma un paio di aspetti sono migliorabili: le cabine per l'elettricità possono essere un po' lontane (ma il gestore mi ha prestato una prolunga!), i bagni sono bellissimi, ma non sarebbero stati sufficienti se il campeggio fosse stato più affollato, la connessione wi-fi non ha configurazioni di sicurezza.

Liked Camping molto curato, in una cornice naturale bella bella e senza fronzoli inutili. Tutto ciò che serviva, c'era. Nelly e Fred assolutamente disponibili.
Per scelta ecosostenibile non c'è piscina e per tranquillità non c'è animazione. Ci sono giochi da fare all'aperto e al chiuso per i bambini. Wi-Fi in zona limitata.

Liked Très bon camping avec des personnes accueillantes, sanitaires récents et très propres, pas de moustiques, pas mal d’ombre sur l’emplacement. Salle commune où on peut se faire à manger au cas où on n’ait pas d’équipement. Il a fait très chaud la journée mais la nuit a été fraîche alors nous avons pu très bien dormir.

Liked Esta muy bien,las duchas son nuevas,la parcela tiene su césped, la señora muy amable

Disliked Que no hay luz estilo farolas,a las 8 cuando oscurece se queda todo oscuro, y claro en una zona montañosa al encender la luz de la autocaravana os podéis imaginar los bichos que entraron aún teniendo mosquiteras,si que soy consciente que esta en plena naturaleza y no es plan de poner farolas, pero unas luces para indicar el suelo estaría bien,la gente de noche va al baño con linternas..

Local attractions

There's plenty to do in the area around Camping La Bruyère. It's well located for walkers as it's on the GR9 and the Assisi pilgrimage route, with numerous walks for all levels in the massif (you'll have a choice of over 1300 km of waymarked trails). Visit the caves of Saint-Christophe (five minutes' drive), then the waterfalls of the Cirque de Saint-Même (30 minutes), a must-see in the region. Don't miss the spectacular Pas du Frou, which can be reached by a cycle loop, the Entremonts circuit, which runs alongside the Guiers Vif gorges and can be reached from Les Échelles. You can then cool off by heading to Lac d'Aiguebelette for its beaches and watersports (30 minutes) or Lac du Bourget (45 minutes). The shops, museums and restaurants of Chambéry are 25 minutes from Camping La Bruyère, The thermal baths and aquarium at Aix-les-Bains spa town are 40 minutes from the site, and Grenoble’s museums, galleries, shops, bars and restaurants are less than an hour away. For those travelling with children, the Rivièr Alp leisure centre is just 10 minutes away, with a large natural swimming pool, water games, picnic area, activities and entertainment.
