What customers say
Lovely lakeside spot near town & mountains. Clean, spacious pitches (some with private bathrooms & views). Friendly staff. Good restaurant, bar, kids' games. Some tent pitches unsuitable, facilities sometimes unclean. Low branches for motorhomes & parking issues noted. Rustic, well-kept vibe, communal BBQs.

Overall a mixed bag, but the private amenities clinched it for us.
Electric optional grass and earth pitch (premium, private bathroom amenities)
Liked Picturesque scenery, option to have various pastries available to collect from reception in the mornings, the private shower and toilet on our pitch was a fantastic upgrade, looks newly built and was clean on arrival. Lots of pitches, and the cabins etc looked nice to stay in as well. Not too far from some stunning scenery and tourist destinations such as Geneva, Chamonix etc. One of few sites in the region that I could find that was offering a serviced pitch with water and electric on the pitch with a 16 amp supply. There is a Super U supermarket and fuel station not far from the site, which was a lifeline for us for our food shop.
Disliked Whilst the premium pitch we had booked offered us a private toilet and shower block, the block itself was adjacent to the pitch rather than on it, and required us to walk to it over a quite muddy path which wasn't ideal. The facilities inside were good, but looked new, and I'm not sure judging by the way the trailer had been converted to a private shower block if it will remain quite as nice a few years down the line.
For a premium pitch, really it should have been a gravel pitch rather than grass as I could see the whole pitch becoming very muddy after prolonged rain which thankfully we didn't have.
I had read reviews here of disinterested staff, and I found that they were perfectly pleasant, but maybe not particularly enthusiastic.
Wi-Fi was available, but only in the common areas so pretty pointless as these weren't really much of anything.
The area the site is situated in is a little strange. From the direction we first approached all we saw were the numerous car dealerships (like so many) and warehouses, it made the area feel very industrial, however heading in the opposite direction when departing was much more like the small town of Challes Les Eaux that we had been expecting.

Great site, would imagine very peaceful when no events being held.
Electric optional grass and earth pitch (premium, private bathroom amenities)
Liked Private facilities were great, to have your own toilet and shower next to the pitch was amazing, as a paid for extra on the pitch, I would recommend.
Scenery is beautiful.
Lovely site with plenty of facilities
Disliked There was a cycling event on with loads of riders camping over, the cyclists were trying to use the private toilet/shower facilities frequently. Thankfully we kept ours locked, however others facilities on pitch had been used several times before arrival at their pitch.

Electric optional grass and earth pitch (comfort)
Liked Piazzola in erba per la tenda comoda e molto spaziosa, buon ristorante interno e personale cortese e disponibile. Molti giochi per i bambini.
Disliked Cani liberi all'interno che defecavano nelle piazzole. Servizi igienici e docce insufficienti per il numero di clienti e non abbastanza puliti. Nessun controllo sull'identità dei clienti all'entrata.

Electric optional grass and earth pitch (comfort)
Liked Very central, lively walk to the lake where we found a lovely lakeside bar. Site was very clean and pitches were large and shady, perfect in the heat. Lovely small bar that sold crepes was a nice end to the day
