Liked Personale accogliente e disponibile, bagni e zona lavanderia puliti, ambienti curati e possibilità di svago: bar ristorante, giochi per bambini e ragazzi, piscina (sia aperta che coperta e riscaldata), birra economica e fresca, pane fresco la mattina su ordinazione.
Posizione molto buona per girare le spiagge e le località della zona.

Disliked Piazzola tenda veramente piccola e appiccicata a una mobile home e con luce sensore puntata sulle tende che si accendeva a tutte le ore al passaggio di qualcuno sul vialetto accanto. Il wifi non funzionava. Per quasi 80 euro a notte, direi che la Francia offre campeggi a prezzi migliori.

Liked Benedict and her wonderful team! So friendly and so much fun. The young entertainers, reception and restaurant/bar staff worked so hard and always with such warmth and enthusiasm. Benedict helped us with a crisis at the end of our holiday and we couldn’t be more grateful to her.
The swimming pool is great and our kids had a great dose of freedom cycling around the campsite and running off to play in the football cage or feed the animals.
A really reasonable price for a fabulous family holiday.

Liked The pool area.

Disliked The over powering smell of urine was constant in the toilets, hardly any hand soap in the dispenser and there was no hand dryer or paper towel dispenser to dry your hands.
The noise every single was horrendous night 9pm from the entertainment, it should have stopped at 11pm but always ran over and it is supposed to be “quiet time” after 11pm but in reality the noise didn’t quiet down until after 1pm at the earliest. It was so loud that you couldn’t get a decent sleep because when you could get some sleep from 1-2am you were woken up before 6am by the cockerels!
The worst thing is if you are English don’t bother, the entertainment is only in French so your little ones will not have a clue what is going on and the staff will not try to translate anything to include them in the entertainment or anything going on. Staff don’t really speak much English and when they do you can tell they resent the inconvenience of trying to understand what you are saying.
To sum up, would have been a nice place to stay if you are French but that is if you don’t mind the smell of urine and no sleep!

Disliked Booked and paid for a fully serviced pitch, only had electric hook up, no water hook up or drainage, told there were no other pitches available. Access to pitch was very tight, had to de-couple caravan and use mover to get van onto pitch.

Liked Great location. Well maintained. Good number of fresh water points. Good pool one inside and one out. Both had separate pools for young children. On-site restaurant does a good pizza

Disliked We were not there in July or August but even so all seats by pool taken not enough space for any more. €20 a week for Wi-Fi unless you were in the bar/ restaurant

Liked Excellent location. Good pool however if in peak very limited beds for size of site. No issues with electrical hook up. Friendly staff. Good young family resort

Disliked Showers cubicle lacked area to keep things dry. No squidgy to clean the show out after use so you were showing in someone’s old soap! Animal enclosure lacked shade for animals People letting their Dog poo over the pitches which were empty. €20 for WiFi access unless in restaurant and then free WiFi was patchy

Local attractions

Less than a kilometre from the site is Cairn - Prehistory Center (about a 10-minute walk), where you can learn about the Neolithic past of this region. Check out the hunting area (complete with 3D animals) and the archaeological digs, before heading indoors where hands-on displays illustrate the lifestyle of our ancestors. Activities at Le Château des Aventuriers (five minutes’ drive) range from a pirates’ treasure hunt to a murder mystery, but there’s also plenty for younger children, including a Western-style village with inflatable totems, and a miniature adventure course dotted with beloved fairy-tale characters. Les Sables-d’Olonne (half an hour) is a pretty seaside resort with the Museum of Shell, displaying thousands of shells from all over the world, including the pearlescent nautilus. Not had your fill of shells yet? The houses in the L’île Penotte area are decorated with mosaics made with mussel, oyster and other shells.
