Camping Le Panorama

There’s loads more to do around Camping Le Panorama than languishing at the beach, and it’s all worthy of exploration. Rent a bike on site, ask the knowledgeable staff for tips on great days out, and head off to the salt marshes or the nearby Brière Regional Nature Park (10 minutes’ drive or 15 minutes’ cycle) for a jaunt. If you don’t feel like spending your hols in the saddle, a drive to Brière still comes highly recommended – explore on foot, bike, horse or canoe, take a barge through the Grande Brière Mottiere marsh or live your best life on a carriage ride, then seek out the fab Kerhinet open-air museum to see a traditional Brièron village. For a more urban experience, traipse around the medieval streets and ramparts of Guerande and call to the aircraft factory, ecomuseum, Escal-Atlantic historic ocean liner experience and submarine Espadon in Saint-Nazaire (25 minutes from Le Panorama). Make your way to the city of Nantes, a little over an hour from Le Panorama, for museums, galleries, stunning gardens, the Machines of the Isle of Nantes (a steampunk park full of towering and stunningly built machinery), the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, and the 19th-century Passage Pommeraye mall’s high-end shops.
