  • Peaceful and scenic setting close to a watersports lake and a beach
  • A short stroll from Parisot, a restaurant, fishing and a skate park
  • Pool, grocery shop and fresh bread/picnic service
A scenic setting, a watersports lake, and a handsome sandy beach (for handsome sandy castles) are yours, all yours, for the taking with a Tarn-et-Garonne retreat at Camping du Lac de Parisot. Although you may yearn to leap, akimbo, into the lake immediately on arrival here, a recommended first option is to have a coffee on the terrace of the site snack bar, where you can gaze dreamily out over the lake to plot your watery shenanigans. (If the kids are a tad restless after hours in the car, the dining room indoors from the terrace has a pool table and table football to keep them occupied, and table tennis is just in front of the bar). Said watery shenanigans will take place at the lake about half a kilometre's stroll from the snack bar; paddleboard, pedalo, canoe and kayak hire are all here if you want to get out onto the water. If not, there's a beach for lazy times (and possible idle dips), carp, pike and tench to land for anglers, and electric and standard bikes to hire for pedalling off around the shoreline. The other side of the lake has a big playground, a skate park, a football pitch and courts for tennis, basketball and volleyball. Site facilities include a pool with sunbathing space alongside, and there are plentiful amenities including showers and toilets. A grocery shop with bread service is at reception; for other supplies, the village of Parisot is about 10 minutes' walk away and a restaurant is within 500 metres.
