Absolutely loved our recent stay at Riverside Caravan Park. Its such a great site with lovely clean and well looked after amenities. We stayed in an electric tent pitch, which was great, all sectioned off and plenty of room. There are some lovely walks around the area, and Hawick town centre is close by which has shops bars and restaurants if you fancy going out for the day/night. Denholme and Jedburgh are also worth a visit. Will definitely visit again!

Local attractions

Wander along the River Teviot, go nature spotting, or hire a bike from the Riverside team for Borders days close to the park; much more of the outdoorsy same is at spectacular Kielder Forest over the border in Northumberland 45 minutes' drive south.

Scottish Borders town days are plentiful around here too, with Hawick under 10 minutes' drive from the park, Jedburgh 15 and Kelso 20. Half an hour away, Selkirk is where William Wallace was famously declared guardian of Scotland; three miles from there, have an afternoon at Bowhill House for more woodland walks and dramatic antics from its on-site theatre.

Swimming pools and a soft play centre are at Teviotdale Leisure Centre, five minutes' drive away.
