What customers say

Stunning views, peaceful vibe, great hosts. Lodges are fab, homey, and well-kitted; hot tubs a winner. Castle reno ongoing. Gravel pitches bumpy/overgrown, a let-down. More hot tub privacy needed.

Non-electric gravel motorhome pitch

Liked Beautiful views and very peaceful

Disliked The Pitchup listing needs to be updated as the castle is boarded up and under renovation, the amenities/facilities listed are only for the glamping, not the gravel pitches, and the 'pitches' were a disused overgrown and uneven carpark. We struggled to find a level spot for our awning and cut short our trip to book elsewhere.

Drummond Lodge cabin

Liked Loved the place ! The accommodation was amazing, everything you need in that not so small place. The hot tub was fab after it had cooled down 😂 the bed was so comfy 🥰 it was so peaceful and tranquil just listening to the wildlife doing what they do 🥰 The castle is amazing 🤩 such a shame it needs so much work 🥺 but good luck and all the best to Tracey and Rob and family who are working so hard restoring it xx

Disliked Didn’t dislike anything, except the weather 😂 we was travelling on a motorbike 😂 and got drenched 😂

Local attractions

All kinds of top-tier tourist trips are up for grabs in this part of Perthshire. Dash down to Castle Drummond (10 minutes' drive) if you like your formal gardens to come with courtly castle scenery, or head to Gleneagles (15 minutes) for golf, falconry, off-road driving and shooting pursuits; there are also weatherproof options available, including day access to a gym, swimming pool and spa. To see some less manicured open-air spots, drive out to Loch Earn (30 minutes) to skim stones, hire a kayak or trek up to the St Fillians viewpoint. Lots of animals can be spotted dashing through the countryside here, but if you want more than just a fleeting glance there's also Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre (20 minutes), home to both British and exotic beasts. Urban jaunts next on the agenda? The centre of Perth (30 minutes) has stacks of stuff to keep you occupied, including galleries, museums, gorgeous riverside walks and Scone Palace, where Scotland's kings were once crowned. Stirling (30 minutes), where there are more royal connections, is also worth a peek.
