What customers say

Lovely, spotless site with amazing sea views & beach access, perfect for dogs. Staff are super friendly & helpful. Facilities are clean, modern, spacious – especially the showers. Bar/restaurant generally good, though food's a bit hit-and-miss. Pitches are spacious & neat. WiFi's dodgy sometimes.

Sandside electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked All staff were friendly and polite . Great location for walks with the dog . The centre building had nice food and dog friendly. Grass neatly cut and tidy . Nice Dog park .

Disliked Where the new additions ( glam pods ) are nice and modern , the landscaping for each let them down with signs of wear and tear with fading fence paint work with unsightly green algae growth . The showers were large but we're cold and similar to the exterior , there were bad signs of simple work required e.g renewing the silicone around showers etc as they were black in places . A deep clean and refresh would solve that .

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the friendly service from our team, the great walking location, and our dog-friendly facilities – it’s wonderful to know both you and your four-legged friend felt at home.

We also really appreciate your constructive comments about the glam pods, shower facilities, and site presentation. We agree that those small maintenance touches can make a big difference, and your feedback has been passed along to our team so we can take a closer look at improvements in these areas.

We hope we’ll have the chance to welcome you back again soon for an even better stay.

From the manager: Thank you for the fantastic review! Parking right in front of the sea sounds like a dream—even with the tide out, that view never gets old. We're glad you enjoyed the bar (bonus points for serving Guinness!) and that our team helped make your stay so memorable.

Liked Large Pitches and private toilet and shower rooms

Nice views

Nice walks from site

Receptionist at check in outstanding so helpful and friendly

Disliked Showed toilets could be cleaner and checked more regularly

Poor Drinks Selection in bar, most becthe only pub in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 not to sell Tenants Lager

From the manager: Thanks so much for your review! We're delighted you enjoyed the spacious pitches, private facilities, scenic views, and nearby walks. It’s especially lovely to hear our receptionist made such a positive impression—I'll be sure to pass that along to the team.

We appreciate your feedback about the shower cleanliness and bar selection. Not stocking Tennent’s Lager in Scotland? That’s definitely one for the suggestion box! We’ll share your comments with the relevant teams to help improve the experience for future guests.

Looking forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Sandside electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Peaceful location. Very reasonable price. Good pitches (we were sand side). Lots of nature to see. Nice, basic restaurant, average price, average food.

Disliked Site needs to be clearer about location in relation to swimming. There is no swimming or access to water for paddleboarding and actually dangerous due to very soft sand. Reception staff gave wrong advice and said you can swim but only within range if site.

Shower facilities were hot the cleanest. Not filthy but not the best!

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're really glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting, great value, and natural surroundings—plus the sand-side pitch sounds like a lovely spot to unwind. It’s also great to know the restaurant offered a decent option during your stay.

We’re sorry for any confusion regarding water access. While we don’t advertise swimming and don’t have a pool onsite, the nearby estuary is publicly available. We’ll work on making this clearer for future guests. We also appreciate your comments about the shower facilities and will pass them along to the team to help improve cleanliness.

Thanks again for helping us enhance the experience for everyone.

Sandside electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked The site is really easy to get to off the M6, I stayed on EHU hardstanding pitch sandside and the views were lovely. The facilities are immaculate. Water at your pitch was a big plus especially on a hot weekend with my dog.

Check-in in was fantastic - I cannot remember the ladies name.

Extremely competitive rate for an August weekend.

Disliked The pitches were over looked by the small holiday lodges/pods - this wouldn't have been so much of an issue but a group of older couples, got extremely drunk in the afternoon into the evening, lots of shouting and jeering, no staff walking round to check on things, As a solo female camper, I didn't not feel comfortable approaching them to ask to keep the noise down. That said I will still be back to the site as I wouldn't want this one experience to put me off.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your thoughtful and balanced review. We're so pleased to hear you enjoyed the easy access, lovely views, immaculate facilities, and the convenience of water at your pitch—especially during a warm weekend with your dog. It’s great to know our check-in team made a positive impression too.
We're truly sorry that your experience was affected by noise from nearby guests. Your safety and comfort are incredibly important to us, and we appreciate you highlighting the need for more visible staff presence during busy periods. We'll be reviewing this with our team to ensure a more peaceful environment for all guests.
We’re grateful for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
