What customers say
Well-kept, spacious campsite with friendly staff & lovely nature. Good facilities, shop & bar. Peaceful, with level pitches & trails. Great for families (playground, goats popular). Some found facilities a bit dated, road access & shower temp/pressure could improve.

Friendly site with level pitches surrounded by nature
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked Lovely peaceful site with level pitches and water/electric per pitch (in paddock 4). Liked the walking trail around the site. Staff very friendly. As others have said, imagine it can get very busy in the summer months, and if you’re a family with children this would probably be great.
Disliked Nothing really, just quite pricey at £40/night

Lovely clean site with plenty of space between pitches.
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked Plenty of room between pitches, quiet, good facilities and clean chemical waste area. Nice walk into Calne for the adventurous!
Disliked Abit flooded with a few potholes but we’ve had loads of rain so hardly surprising!! No WIFI which is a real pain, would be good to get this sorted!!

A decent site that just needs a few things tightening up.
Non-electric grass pitch (medium)
Liked Decent pitches, plenty of space and friendly staff. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere but only a few minutes away from Calne so everything you need is a short drive away at worst.
Disliked Access road is in poor condition (potholes and standing puddles). Nothing major but it stood out against the rest of the site being good.

Liked Lovely peaceful site & the facilities are clean & tidy. We had a serviced pitch close to the lake which was really nice.
There's a play area for younger children to play in & some goats on site which you can see too.
It looks like there is an outside bar & seating area but obviously closed during winter months.
Overal a nice quiet, relaxed site & very easy to find.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked Great location, we stayed from the 26th December 2025 until the 30th December. Understandably there was only one shower block open. Which had two showers and three toilets. Easy access, quiet, you would need either a car or a bike to access any shops. Nice hot showers. Nice sized pitch.
Disliked Shower block basic, shower squidgy didn’t really work to move water out of shower room, after showering, it was too big to go through the door.
