What customers say
Litton Lakes gets a thumbs-up for its scenic setting, helpful staff, and generous pitches. The lake's a big draw for swimming and paddleboarding, with the cafe and local pub also scoring well. Facilities are mostly tidy, though some guests mentioned weak water pressure and dim toilet blocks. While many find the vibe chilled, a few reckon it gets a bit hectic and loud, especially with bigger groups. Most agree the loos and showers could do with a sprucing up.

An amazing little camping holiday! Stunning location.

Liked Pretty much everything 🙂 The lake being the star of the show. Kids absolutely loved it and so did we. An amazing hidden gem. We honestly cant wait to come back.
Disliked Prices in the cafe very steep! But aside from that we have no complaints.

We love the lake and the ability to paddle.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We love Litton lakes, we’ve visited lots with day passes but this was our first camping stay.
Easy to check in, the new toilet block is smart and a welcome addition.
The new jetty and edging to the lake is really smart.
Disliked The cafe prices are I the expensive side with a limited menu. Coffee isn’t great either.
Lots of the taps didn’t work in the new toilet block. I think at one point only 2 taps out of 6 worked.
The jetty needs some bone slip gripping on it, we watched numerous children hit the deck very hard, including one child smacking their head. Please supervise your children in this as it gets so slippery.
A couple of noises campers.

Free for all, do as you want! With no repercussions
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked It was a cute place. The new Toilet block is nice, a little “impersonal” as you can hear everything. When shop was open coffee is good.
Disliked Power points would completely and utterly change this place.
No wardens or control. They state 9pm quiet time but every night the loud group could be heard laughing and talking till gone 11pm.
Shop is very expensive with strange open hours. A bbq night or something would have been amazing.
Never saw anyone cleaning, tidying up or managing site.

Would stay again.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Camp was lovely clean and quiet. Staff were lovely. The lake was a big bonus.
Disliked Signage for amenities could be a little clearer as it wasn't until we were leaving we found there were toilets closer to our pitch than the ones we were using.

We had an amazing stay at…
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We had an amazing stay at the Litton Lakes campsite. We went as a group and I was initially worried it would be to busy to pitch us together but Sarah had it all planned out and they had very thoughtfully placed us in an ideal spot. The facilities were clean and never too busy and the cafe and lake were an added bonus. Very well positioned for access to the beaches as well. Can't wait to return again in the future.
