What customers say

A tidy, welcoming spot a short walk from town and beaches. Guests love the big pitches, clean facilities, heated outdoor pool, and fair prices. Staff are super helpful. Dated showers and cash payments noted, but most rave and plan to revisit.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Great facilities, tidy and clean site. Pitch size was perfect.
Perfect site for kids and parents with the on site amusement arcades, heated outdoor pool, cafe/ takeaway, shop and of course the evening pub!
Not too far away from the middle of Newquay and plenty of shops around to keep the necessities stocked up!

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch (six person)

Liked Nice big pitch, the swimming pool and the location

Disliked Lots of noise very late into the night every night. Toilets and showers where always disgusting no mop to be able to clean the shower floor yourself. Ice pack freezing in the shop so have very limited times you can change ice packs so effects your days plans and it's at a cost. No cash on site and no pre warning of this. Also advertised as with WiFi but you only get 20 minutes

Fully-serviced grass pitch

Liked Good location for all beaches around Newquay. On-site bar, kids amusement arcade, takeaway and small shop for the essentials etc. well kept site with clean toilets and showers plus the bonus of the heated swimming pool.

Disliked Not enough beds round the pool area, bar, shop and takeaway only open for limited times plus they only except cash “no card” payments.

Local attractions

Set off on foot or take the local bus for the mile-long journey into Newquay, one of the most famed spots in all the country for surfing and surf schools as well as the surfing tournaments at Fistral beach. Loads of other Newquay options await if the thought of boards bores you: have a potter around the zoo or aquarium, bask on some of the seven miles of golden sandy beach, or take the Newquay Discovery Trail on a gentle meander through town. The South West Coast Path runs through town too on its 603-mile meander from Minehead to Poole; there's an easy trail of less than a mile to Bedruthan Steps if you want to tackle the path with the kids. Just outside Newquay, Trenance Gardens and Leisure Park is a spectacular spot for a family day out, with Trenance Leisure Park and skate park, a boating lake and pedalo hire, and peaceful times afterwards among the trees, flowers and rose bushes of Trenance Gardens. The park is 10 minutes' walk from Trencreek. For day trips, try Truro (25 minutes' drive), Padstow (30 minutes), the Eden Project (35 minutes) and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth (50 minutes).
