Bluebell 1 bedroom on-site touring caravan

Liked The site is in a lovely quiet area, punctuated by birdsong and the occasional steam train! Cooking utensils, bbq and firepit provided, even a pack of cards. We stayed the first night in bluebell ( very cosy, fell asleep to the full moon, and woke to the sun) and spent the second night in the flying tent..( great fun..even for a couple in their 50s!) Both pitches were spacious and private. Andrew is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Disliked Nothing to dislike!!

Apollo Camp ready tent

Liked Amazing hosts that were so helpful and generous with their time, knowledge and produce! We had such a beautiful time disconnecting for a moment. Lounging in the hammock, card games by the fire, watching the steam engines (and diesel!) pass by and watch the nature around us. A really lovely balance of getting back to basics whilst enjoying some luxuries (delicious coffee, with a v60 and beautiful silverware and crockery!) and at a great price point. We will most definitely be returning recommend highly enough! Thanks guys.

Pepperpots 1 bedroom on-site touring caravan

Liked We absolutely loved our stay in Pepperpots! The location was very easy to find, had great facilities (even had wifi) but still felt off grid enough to switch off and enjoy nature. The Gulf Stream was amazing, had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot! Added bonus was the outside cooking and seating area which we really enjoyed. Cooking facilities were well thought out and perfect for us! We will 100% be back in the near future and fully recommend to anyone wanting a break from technology and stresses of life. Waking up to the birds singing and horses grazing was everything we needed! Many thanks 😊

Disliked In all honesty we have no dislikes. Everything was perfect.

Zeus shepherd's hut

Liked This place was perfect to switch off for the weekend. Both of us have quite hectic jobs so being completely away from everything with no service or wifi for 48 hours was exactly what we needed. The bed was so comfy and lots of amenities. Its really secluded so you dont feel like your near other people or disturbing anyone. There's horses and a very cute spaniel who came to say hello so as big animal lovers this was a big plus. Andrew was really friendly and accommodating. Perfect place to chill for a few days, will definitely be back :) Thank you Andrew and Marisian !

Zeus shepherd's hut

Liked This place was an absolute dream, we wanted a weekend cut off from the outside world and this gave us exactly that!

The hosts Andrew and Marisian where friendly and welcoming and showed us around and how everything worked, we had a lovely conversation about their plans going forward including the plans to make the place even more environmentally friendly.

There wasn’t a single thing more we could have asked for that they hadnt thought about.

We can not wait to come back next year to see all the changes they have planned and for another weekend of peace and quite surrounded by the steam rail way and sounds of the wild life!
