Excellent free camping in fresh, inspiring countryside.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The location was lovely and our stay delightful.
It was as described, being a working farm offering pitches, without electricity but well kept and clean washing facilities, situated adjacent to ancient woodlands kept by the National Trust. The site has a shop that offered food, drinks, and wood for fires or barbeques. The owners were friendly, welcoming and down-to-earth. A local pub with a good menu was in easy walking distance.
Disliked We did not dislike anything other than not being able to stay longer.
