Lovely campsite in a great location
Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked We stayed one night in an electric hook up pitch. Very peaceful location on a farm. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. We really liked it there. Just note the pub within walking distance is currently closed.
Disliked Toilet/shower facilities are due an upgrade and are basic but we were expecting that.

Liked Spacious pitches. Quiet and could light a fire, which we enjoyed cooking on.
Easy to find.
Disliked Toilet and shower block were looking a little tired.

Nice setting, and a warm welcome.
Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Lovely welcome from Kylie who also checked in over the weekend as we had told her we were first time campervaners and to the area. Everything worked as it should. Nice pitch, nice setting.
Disliked Nothing really. We'd read the reviews about the toilets before booking and Kylie apologised for them being "on their last legs" when we arrived, but to be honest they weren't that bad and I've definitely seen worse! Generally clean, 1 blocked toilet got sorted quickly.

Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Very welcoming owner, she advised us on the best pitch as the field was a bit wet in places and our van may have got stuck. We took her advise and had a great night's stay. Very quiet site away from major roads. Just the kind of informal small site we like.
The owner advised that the toilet and shower block is awaiting a refit and bins for sorting rubbish are arriving soon, we were advised to use the tractor bucket in the meantime. It's a pop up site and dogs are very welcomed.
