What customers say

A chilled campsite with good facilities, great for checking out local spots. Kelly's a top host, and the bell tents are neat. Superior tents have all the gear. Fire pits, volleyball, and ping pong make it a lekker glamping trip. Pub and beach nearby a bonus.

Bell tent (superior)

Liked The experience was absolutely wonderful.

The location itself is beautiful—lush, green, and peaceful, with plenty of trees and a serene atmosphere. We found the tents to be very comfortable, everything clean and clearly well-maintained.

We also appreciated the spotless bathrooms and the easy-to-use kitchen appliances—everything felt new and thoughtfully prepared. A special thanks to Kelly for her excellent customer care and for being so helpful throughout our stay.

Overall, my family and I had an amazing time and we will definitely be returning.

It was truly a lovely way to spend time in nature.

Thank you for making our camping trip so special!

Bell tent (superior)

Liked Great little campsite basic & peaceful , perfect for an overnight stay to explore local towns nearby within a short distance. We stayed in the superior bell tent, Kelly was great communicating before our stay asking if there was anything we requested e.g coal / logs for the fire pit and during if we had any questions. The facilities were clean and equipped with a small cooking stove, plates , pots , pans , cups, cutlery , kettle , teabags, coffee, biscuits. We were impressed with the price and would definitely come back to stay.

Bell tent (basic)

Liked Very good location with amenities and the beach within a short driving distance. Everything that we needed for the night could be purchased from the local Aldi. The host was very welcoming and gave us a good introduction to the site and the neighbourhood. Site has table tennis, badminton, pit fire and BBQ facilities as well.

Bell tent (basic)

Liked This was such a lovely campsite. The tents and amenities were very pretty and clean. There’s a communal fire pit, volley ball net, ping pong tables, etc which was a lovely extra touch. The bell tents are very spacious, and the ‘superior’ one we stayed in had everything you could need for your stay (beds, fairy lights, fire pit, outdoor dining area, kettle, pans and plates, sofa, cushions etc). The host is super friendly and helpful, and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Truly recommend for anyone who wants a glamping experience. There’s a nice pub and a pretty beach just down the road too!

Local attractions

Being within the High Weald National Landscape naturally means that you’ll have plenty of scenic choices for walks and bike rides, whether you fancy a gentle stroll or pedal or something rather lengthier and more energetic. Heading down towards the coast, Hastings Country Park (10 minutes’ drive) is a good destination, with the option to head into town for a paddle after your walk. Hastings has more than a beach of course – it’s also got a historic old town, a couple of cliff railways, a good adventure golf course and a couple of maritime-themed museums. Travelling a little further along the coast will take you to the quieter Winchelsea beach (10 minutes) or the historic town of Rye (15 minutes), packed with cobbled streets, half-timbered houses and antiques shops. The dunes of Camber Sands (25 minutes) are fabulous when the weather’s good; if it’s a damp day, head instead to the indoor displays at Brede Steam Giants (15 minutes).
