What customers say

Awesome coastal and castle views just off the A1. Staff are super friendly & helpful, check-in's a breeze. Well-kept pitches, perfect for tents. Peaceful, clean and good value. A few more loos would be nice, but they're clean. Dog-friendly, fire pits allowed. Great for a chill break!

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Lovely views down to the coast, great location. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Disliked No drinking water! This is mentioned right at the bottom of the listing and I've never stayed in a paid-for campsite without drinking water so I wasn't prepared for this. Everyone camping around us was also surprised by this.
The lovely views are provided by the fact that it's a hill, which means pitches aren't flat and it can get windy so not the best for tents.

Liked Lovely clean and tidy site. Toilets and bins done on a daily basis. The owners are very friendly and easy going. Second time we visited and will definitely return. This site is very well situated to visit Seahouses and Bamburgh.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Pretty and peaceful site with uninterrupted rural and coastal views. As a solo female camper, I felt safe and I slept like a log. Loved pitching up next to a field of cows! I’ll definitely be back.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Easy access and secure. Toilets were clean and the site was tidy. Family were great checking who was in the site. Beautiful place to visit.

Disliked The fact that I was in a tent made it tricky. The ground was flat ish, which meant I was in a ball at the bottom of the tent! Sign posting was my biggest concern. It took a while to find the turning off the main road. Back and forth multiple times. A sign on the main road would improve finding the site
