A beautiful place, peaceful and quiet with all the birds for company.
Hammock non-electric forest floor tent pitch (secluded)
Liked I absolutely loved it. I was secluded and hidden away but within shouting distance of the owner, which as a lone older woman first time wild camper was so comforting. The site is beautiful with a fire pit (wood included) a compost toilet and a really handy table. The peace and tranquility of this place is everything and more for a reset. Cheryl is so responsive and put my mind at rest. I will without a doubt be visiting again if they'll have me!.

Loved the setting, beautiful open landscape…
Sunrise non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Loved the setting, beautiful open landscape right outside my campervan door, had the best fire in the fire pit (well supplied with firewood), and a bar where I had a most welcome cocktail after getting my pitch situated! In the morning, saw a fox hunting in the field right in front of me! A truly magical campground.

Liked Peaceful site with a friendly welcome, fire pit came with everything we needed to get a fire going, food van was a welcome plus. For us at least, the composting toilets are a bonus, and are kept clean and tidy. Would happily stay here again.

Sunrise non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great views and space. Was late in season so we were the only ones on site. Wet and windy but still had fun. Cheryl is very helpful and passionate about the site. The quirky showers (Nice and hot) - toilet block and washing up area all built into old horse boxes . The fresh food from the on site truck was good . There is a big Marquee that has seating tables and bits for sale which was a welcome stretch out for us being in a VW T2 . This is a proper eco site don't expect C&C spec it is great value for money . Fire pit a great bonus shame we were unable to make the most of because the weather. Would say 5 - 10 min drive to village where there is couple pubs super market and petrol station handy for supplies.

We had a lovely short stay…
Sunrise non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We had a lovely short stay here! We brought our tent and visited on a quiet day, which made the whole experience really peaceful. Our host, Cheryl, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, she made us feel right at home from the start.
The facilities were brilliant: the toilets and showers are in converted horse trailers, which were not only clean but also really charming and rustic, a very clever idea!
We also loved the onsite bistro van, which had plenty of choice and served fresh food. It was the perfect touch and made things so easy.
All in all, a fantastic camping spot with a warm atmosphere — highly recommended!
