What customers say
Great value, friendly, peaceful campsite with awesome views. Clean facilities, big pitches, and a welcoming vibe. Locals love the cafe and alpacas. A bit of a trek to ablutions and bumpy roads, but overall, a gem!

Spacious pitch, plenty of privacy, showers…
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Spacious pitch, plenty of privacy, showers and toilets clean, beautiful views, saw baby goslings wondering with their parents. Lovely llamas munching away. Was local to me as I wanted to test out my tent, and had a peaceful night's sleep. Rained in the morning, and found out that my tent leaks!! A godsend as I'm heading to Wales by next week, and bought myself a new tent!!!

Lovely place. Would definitely return again.
Non-electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked The view from the campsite was lovely. Staff were very friendly. Whole place was very clean. So much wildlife, was hard to believe we were only 15 minutes drive from home.
Disliked Only complaint, but nothing major, would be the walk to the toilets/showers. The only thing that would make this site a 10 would be if there was a toilet block on the campsite itself.

Non-electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked Level pitch
Peace and Quiet
Disliked No toilets on pitch.
Toilet and shower were 150 meters down a very steep uneven track next to the farmhouse. You wouldn't want to walk down there in the dark. Then you've got to walk back up. 3 miles to the nearest decent place to eat.

Camping pod (three person, no electricity)
Liked The quiet, the bird life, the cleanliness of the pod and it was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the pod was warm at night. The people running the site were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We loved feeding the alpacas and ducks.

Fantastic little site
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great little campsite, beautiful views, nice toilet and showers. Little cafe for breakfast and lunch, closes at 1pm. Friendly owners. Well maintained site, lots of wildlife, geese, ducks and a couple of fields of inquistitive llamas! Will definatly be coming back
Disliked Nothing really but if I had to pick something, steep hill to toilets and showers and a few minutes walk. If camping bring your own toilet, this is what we did so we didn't have to do many trips up and down the hill
