Caravan and Motorhome Club members on the lookout for a lovely location for a Warwickshire stay, read on… Wood Bevington Certified Location is a particularly choice spot within the grounds of a manor house that was once part of the nearby Ragley Hall estate. Family-friendly and dog-friendly but open to CAMC members only, this is a quiet and small-scale site that’s also very secure thanks to the private gates. You’ll park up on grass pitches with access to electric and water connections, and plenty of space for your awning, gazebo and outdoor table. There are no toilets or showers at this site, so you’ll need to be self-sufficient on the bathroom front. You will, however, have access to a chemical disposal point and a barbecue area; pick up supplies for the latter at the farm shop a couple of minutes’ drive away or the supermarkets and shops in Alcester (10 minutes’ drive). A real highlight here is the large pond, which attracts all sorts of wildlife and makes a lovely backdrop for the pitches. To see more of the local scenery, you can set off on a 45-minute stroll to Ragley Hall or get in the car to drive to the northern stretches of the Cotswolds National Landscape (about 25 minutes away). As for other days out, there are plenty of options around, including trips to Stratford-upon-Avon and Worcester, National Trust estate wanderings and various family attractions.
