What customers say
A tranquil spot by the river, close to Knighton. Campers love the roomy, neat pitches, clean ablutions with hot showers, and friendly owners. Great for walks (Offa's Dyke too!). Communal fridge/kettle a bonus. Some note limited facilities and distance to the barn during busy periods.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Dodatkowo, liczne ścieżki zachęcają do spacerów i eksplorowania okolicy.

Perfect location for a peaceful site
Non-electric grass touring caravan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Everything about this small family run campsite was perfect from us from the peaceful location within walking distance of the small town of knighton, to the thoughtful facilities provided by the host. loved it.
We came by car, but now know that the site is easily accessed from the local railway station - would be perfect if staying in one of the hosts 2 bell tents and not having to carry kit

Liked The location is stunning, with an easy path next to the river into town
Disliked No facilities in the river side field. I was in a self contained van so not a big deal

From the manager: Hi there, sorry to see you left an overall review of 7. Which is odd considering your rating for location & value for money is 9.
You’ll be pleased to know we’ve now purchased some eco loos for the big field and will be installing them next week.
Thank you
Roxanne.
1 of my favorite camping spots with no-frills but good basic service.
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Everything, but let me try to be specific:
- the meadows and the river where you pitch your tent
- plaintiff space between different pitches
- the facilities are made of a refurnished barn, looks great
- the facilities, bathroom and shower, are clean, well lit with hot water
- there’s a fridge you can use
- there are proper sinks to clean dishes
- there are events every week, such as singing, etc.
- there’s a small nomad coffee shop, which also serves breakfast on site
- the village is a five minute walk along a wonderful river
- and the campsite is at the beginning of a large choice of wonderful hikes
- the owners are lovely
Disliked Perhaps the facilities are a bit small given the number of clients who use the space, but it all worked out when we were there.

Non-electric grass touring caravan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This site is the perfect spot for a lovely weekends camping soaking up the beautiful outdoors! There’s a great variety of pitches to choose from, facilities are always clean and well maintained. We’ve been coming camping here since our middle daughter was just a baby, in fact this is the first place she ever camped (and ever slept through the night 😂). Walking trails are right on your doorstep, Knighton is a lovely town and there’s gorgeous hikes just a little way down the road. Kids always feel safe and welcome here as well.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Relaxed nature of the campsite. Sufficient usual facilities as you get on most campsites plus a little kitchenette. It was lovely to have Offas Treats, the icecream was the best I've ever had!
It's always nice to have a river running through any campsite too.
