What customers say
Spacious, friendly, well-located site with a relaxed vibe. Easy walk to Shrewsbury. Staff are a big plus, as are the good pitches and on-site facilities. Some older loos need a spruce-up, but showers are fine. Great value and location.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The person who oversees the pitches was great. Welcoming and very helpful
Nice area
Disliked Fireworks being set off by an idiot fellow camper . Surely they don’t mix well with tents and gas cylinders. Not to mention the poor dogs that were there.
Toilet blocks were a bit minging.

A very nice stay in pleasant surroundings.
Electric grass pitch
Liked An overall good site just a 15 minute walk away from the lovely town of Shrewsbury. The site is huge, with a good selection of grass and gravel pitches, and ehu. We found the site owner/manager/warden friendly and accommodating. We originally booked a grass pitch, but on arrival were asked if we wanted to go on a gravel pitch at no extra cost, as they weren't overly busy.
We pitched up near to what looks like a relatively new mobile shower block, which contains 4 cubicles with a good powerful shower, sink and toilet. There was also 2 separate toilet blocks near by.
The site has wifi, which we didn't use, as we have a mobile router containing a '3' sim card, which worked well and streamed from our firestick with no problems.
Disliked The toilet blocks were a little dated, but I've seen a lot worse.
