  • Touring park a couple of minutes' drive from Skegness beach
  • Spacious family-friendly site; pets welcome too
  • Secure site with well-equipped touring pitches
Set up back in 2016 on open farmland just on the outskirts of Lincolnshire seaside capital Skegness: if you want busy and seaside town days along with days among green Lincolnshire countryside, petite and clean Skegness Fields is a well-placed pick. Pitches are hardstanding ones for tourers and motorhomes, and come with electric hook-up and a water point. The smart facilities include a swish shower and toilet block, washing-up area and chemical disposal. As it's a family-friendly site, Skegness Fields has plenty of room for kids to roam and grownups to relax; it's a safely-kept site too, with a fully secure barrier entry system. The sands of Skegness are a couple of minutes' drive, a leisurely stroll or a quick bus ride away.

Great, clean site with friendly staff. Modern ablutions, spacious pitches, handy for Skegness. Most love it, though some mention road noise & busy bin issues. Booking's a breeze.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked From checking in with friendly helpful staff to well kept spacious spaces, it's a lovely place. Modern clean facilities, well kept spacious pitches, 15 min walk to main beach/town, lovely hot showers with a changing area within each shower area( plenty of room.) Wash facilities with a great hand dryer and hair dryer that actually have power to dry unlike some i have stayed at. Wash pot area, sluice, bin area. The reception has a shop too.second time at this site amd our only go to site when we visit the area.. nearly forgot to mention a great little park for the kids.

Disliked Having to leave after a lovely stay

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked *2nd time staying* both times excellent

The welcome was very friendly and the lady on desk was really warm and nice.

The site was clean and the showers and toilets were good considering how busy the site was.

The play park looked good but we didn't get round to using it.

The location was excellent for a trip to the seaside.

Disliked I found it a bit difficult to keep track of the key card but I get why it is required.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Pitch size was great.
Friendly staff.
Lovely park area that was well maintained.

Disliked Shower block was not the cleanest and didn’t appear to have been thoroughly cleaned during the 3 nights we stayed.
Bin area poorly maintained with VERY full bins (the park was not even half full) and dirty nappies left thrown on the floor all weekend.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked really well kept site close enough to walk into Skegness if you like a walk

Disliked in our field only 3 of about 15 pitches were used but we were put right next to the main road which was really noisy including through the night they should fill the pitches furthest away from the road until full would stay again but request to be away from the road

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Ease of booking.
Nice toilet/showers

Disliked Tents pitched too close together.
No plug sockets in toilets to charge phone or use hair straightners.
Very close to busy main road so noisy traffic all night and very early morning.
Very bumpy ground.
Second night there was a very noisy group shouting, swearing & singing very loudly in the early hrs of morning.

Local attractions

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.
