What customers say

Great, peaceful farm camp with friendly folk. Spacious spots, quiet country feel & nice views. Love the farm animals & local goodies! Clean loos & showers, though could be more. Narrow access roads. Good value for a chill break.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked A nice friendly spacious site, lovely welcome on arrival Lisa and Steven greeted us and showed us which pitches were available and let us choose were we liked best, also there was a lovely walk around the small lake / pond with benches for a picnic area and dog walk, only two mixed sex toilets and one shower, Lisa is always out chatting with everyone or back in the awning doing her crafting either painting rocks or making model buildings and lots of other wonderful things, certainly will visit again,

Disliked bad weather but you can't choose that,

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Booked a hardstanding pitch for a 1 night stopover in our motorhome. We were given an uneven grass pitch, however for the price and brief stay, it wasn't worth complaining about. Experienced motorhome or caravaners like us have levelling blocks anyway, so this isn't the end of the world.

Met by a lady onsite, who i presume was the warden, made to feel welcome and shown the facilities.

Washing up area was clean and tidy, fresh water tap and chemical disposal point. 2 x loos and 1 shower. I'd prefer personally bathrooms and loos to have tiled/lino/ cleanable flooring rather than carpet but no big deal - seemed clean enough.

Disliked Shower wasn't clean to my liking, but not dire.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked The location was lovely. We were greeted on our arrival by Lisa and Steve who were very helpful and friendly (They even made us tea and Lisa provided crayons, etc for the kids). The toilets and shower were very clean and roomy. Washing up area was good with bowls provided. Good sized pitches, not squashed together. Nice views across the fields and we could walk the dog around the lake on the site. Price was extremely reasonable. Debbie (the owner) was lovely. I hope we can stay again in the future.

Disliked Nothing to dislike

Local attractions

So, the kids need entertaining. First stop may well be Cotswold Farm Park (45 minutes’ drive) to see rare-breed sheep, mini Shetland ponies and curly-horned Highland cattle. Head for Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens to meet rare lemurs, rhinos and stately giraffes, and there’s plenty of watery fun to be had sailing dinghies or paddleboarding on the lakes at Cotswold Water Park (both about an hour’s drive). For active families, the Forest of Dean (35 minutes) is a hub of outdoor sporty action, with cycling routes – hire bikes from Forest of Dean Cycle Centre (45 minutes) – rock climbing at Symonds Yat (35 minutes) and long-distance walks along Offa’s Dyke (an hour). Additional challenging walks and cycle rides can be found in the Malvern Hills (20 minutes). On a grown-ups day out, browse shops and bars lining the Georgian docks at Severn-riverside Gloucester (25 minutes), or have a wander around the cute, half-timbered buildings in Ledbury (20 minutes). As well as walks and boat trips along the Severn and Avon rivers, Tewkesbury (10 minutes) has fine stained-glass windows in its famed cathedral, and a thriving theatre scene if you fancy a night out.
