What customers say
Elmwicke Campsite gets the thumbs up for its generous, flat spots and spotless ablutions. Owners Ruth and Jonathan are super friendly, the vibe is chilled, and the cafe, fire pits and tractor rides are a hit. Great spot for a proper lekker chill.

Friendly site, relaxed, good washing and shower facilities.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Really friendly owner, very relaxed. I didn’t use the cafe but looked to be popular. Good shower and toilet facilities and great to have fridges and freezers available.
Had massive family shower rooms with baby change facilities.
Showers and toilets were clean and well maintained.
Overall we were pretty happy with the site and was a good mixture of people.
Disliked Barely anything really, the gate was quite tricky to open. Possibly some electric sockets for charging mobiles (there may have been some but I didn’t notice them).

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Ruth is just amazing - so kind, welcoming and helpful! The campsite itself is big and open. Very beautiful scenery with fields galore backing on to it. The facilities are always clean and they have all the little touches one would need. The wifi works as well! I am a solo female traveller and I felt very safe here. Thank you for having me Ruth - Hannah xx
