What customers say
This neat campsite boasts great views and a chilled vibe. Reviewers loved the clean grounds, helpful owners, and top facilities like roomy spots and spotless loos. Animal sightings and nearby sights/walks were a hit. Mostly great, but some noted road noise and occasional queues for facilities when busy.

Loved it so much we will be coming back
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Absolutely lovely campsite! After a very "late evening parties" campsite we expected the week before in that area, this was just what we needed! You can tell that people come there to rest, enjoy the weather, have a little fire, not to have a party. The facilities were spotless, at all times we have been there. Lots of space as well and very pretty area. Although we'd like trying out different places because we're quite new to camping, we will be definitely come back here and will recommend it to friends.
Disliked Nothing.

Spacious, great for kids and stunning views (Monsal Head very near)
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Family friendly, clean, well laid out with plenty of space for everyone. Our little girl made some great little mates.
Views and closeness to so many great little spots and Bakewell town too. We plan to come back every year!
Disliked A group of slightly loutish families backed onto us for two nights. They were loud late into the evening (well after 10) and effing n jeffing loudly during the day...it was bliss when they left when we still had a night left.
There didn't seem to be any hot water for washing up (but both showers i had were plenty warm enough) - probably just a timing thing.
