Plentiful facilities and the village shop…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Plentiful facilities and the village shop was quite well stocked
Disliked You need more than a 15m electric hook up here. We virtually hung over our neighbours pitch and had to reposition our tent to reach hook ups. 20m needed really.

Such a lovely place to stay. Clean, tidy and very friendly staff.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Everyone we met was wonderful. So friendly, funny, chatty. The wardens are ace, answered all questions and enjoyed a chat. The guys in the farm shop were a good crack too. We stayed afyer BH weekend (came BH monday) it had been their biggest weekend of the year so far and I was so impressed, toilets & showers were very clean. Toilet roll stocked.
Its our 2nd visit and its just a lovely site. Great park for the kids too.
Disliked The walk to the toilet block! (I mean this in jest, we picked a shaded spot which meant furthest from the toilets, so our own fault!)

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review, glad our wardens and us in the farm shop made your stay special, haha on toilet block we didnt have too much shade this week glad you found some ;-)

Electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious clean site. Water taps within easy access of pitches. Electric hook up well placed per pitch.Secure vehicle entrance. Small pedestrian gate to farm shop area open during shop business hours. Shower, loo &washing up facilities clean & well presented. Play area well maintained. Greeted by warden who lives on site. Small village shop on site although hours are limited. However, St Neots is an easy 10 minute drive away so access to shops easy.
Disliked Rubbish bins very visible & rather overflowing. Potential health hazard as this is a farm area.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review, we only have a limited number of staff and try to keep the shop open for as many hours as we can when doing 7 days a week, we do try to put the opening hours in the booking information and on the gate so everyone is aware of the hours,
We apologise about the rubbish onsite this week unfortunatly our collection days from biffa are monday for recycling and thursdays for general waste however they do not work on bank holiday mondays hence there being more than normal although we are no longer a working farm this was changed back in the 80s when we became a campsite, We do keep the bins visable so that people can see them, we try to keep it very well marked on which bins are recycling and which are general waste, we also have a bottle bank there, it would be less waste if people had used these correctly over the weekend, as there was general waste put in the recycling which meant that we were unable to send the recycling this week and had to be all put through as general waste as was refused also bottles were put in both recycling and general waste which had to be fished out.
We hope to see you again to show this is not how waste is normal managed at Top End Farm
