Liked: Location. Historical Weekend. Spent 6 nights on Whitby Showground. Excellent location. Visited the war weekend and the Viking village in Whitby Abbey. Toilets were cleaned and emptied twice whilst we were there. (Take your own loo roll) Staff were very helpful and security on site. Felt very safe. Definitely book again for next year.

Liked: Outdoor shows put on a fantastic weekend and we really enjoyed it. The weather was great. The re-enactments were exceptional and very dedicated people keeping history alive and putting on some very interesting and thought provoking displays which made you think what people have endured in the past.
The marquee entertainment was also excellent and fun and a decent pint UK bars did good too.
I don’t know what else to say but just to congratulate everyone from the stewards upwards for putting on a fantastic weekend.Disliked: –

Liked: Great set up easy access good directions off the show staff good hard standing and no problem with electric hook up all turned out a great weekend
Disliked: Ther could be more than one stand pipe for drinking water also maybe a better way for your waste

Disliked: We arrived very early so we could get a good spot, to be told we had to park where the stewards said. Absolutely not on. We used to come every year and got a really good spot . The site was well organised and would still be if you allow early arrivers to pick there spot. The area we wanted, we were told that wss for people arriving on the Saturday!! Bit stupid if you ask me. Anyway after having a " word" I managed to get near the spot we came for . And everyone followed suit , we all left same day so don't know what the fuss was about. Anyway I won't be coming back because its put me off .
