If you want to access the children’s park everyday (it’s in constant view) you have to pay entry fee to Thornton hall farm. Roughly £60 for 5 of us.

Shower, washing up, and toilet facilities are to few for the amount of people on site. You need more…. There was a lot of queuing and my daughter wet herself she had to wait so long. She was mortified and embarrassed.

Great Site, great proximity to the farm park. Had a great be day at the farm which mistakenly we thought might take just a morning and turns out gave us a full day of fun! Great that we could go back and forth to tent too! Glorious setting.

I think this might be in a few comments but maybe a few more toilets/showers. Another one of the toilet blocks would be great. Maybe a separate price to allow kids on the play area only! (Might be difficult to manage)

Tidy clean site, peaceful location.

Only 3 toilets and 2 showers for the entire site. Big queues at some points. Toilets need to be cleaned more regularly than once a day with so many people using them over the course of the day, they were very smelly and dirty by the evening.

Small site which is quiet and very clean.
Few hardstanding pitches, we had a grass/electric and it was well maintained and was not boggy, but weather has been good past few weeks.
The toilet and showers were close to the pitches and were checked a few times a day by friendly staff.
We stayed to visit the farm park which was a great day out we managed a full day there starting with a leisurely morning on site where the kids played on their bikes, played with other children camping.
Then from 11am a short 2 min walk to the farm park, didn't leave till after 4pm! Weather was really good which did help as many of the activates the kids enjoyed were outside, the jumping air pillows were a massive hit as was the large soft play area. We thought the extra actives on offer were reasonably priced.
There were plenty of animals to cuddle and feed inc Lamas and some Emus. Back to the site for a a peaceful evening with fellow campers.
The spot is ideal for trips to Skipton and a base for enjoying the Dales etc

Not much to dislike really.
However I did think that for the campers using the pot wash area it would have been thoughtful to have it under cover as the British weather isn't that kind to us all the time.
As with many other reviews it was hard to explain to our children ages 5 and 6 that the large play area they could see was not accessible to them without being in the farm park. But I was prepared and took bikes and other outdoor toys to entertain them instead.

Pitches nice size, showers & loos really clean, views amazing.

Could have had better facilities for food takeaway as restaurant closed at 4pm
