Liked: The serviced pitch was very spacious and peaceful. We were allocated the pitch requested at the time of booking. The check in was quick and informative. The new shower and toilet block remained clean and tidy during our stay. The children enjoyed playing in the park.
Disliked: The picnic bench on our serviced pitch was broken and not suitable for the children to sit on with nails being exposed.
No WiFi on site.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay in the dog friendly lodge. We mentioned when booking it was our 1 year wedding anniversary and was surprised to see they put a vanner on our door upon arrival. A very sweet gesture. Quite spacious, bed was really comfy and good space outside in the fenced area for our dog. Added bonus was the hottub was great and under shelter and private. Also that it was part of the woods, we loved walking in there.
Disliked: As walking through the tent and caravan part there were dogs off leads. Luckily our dog is friendly but not worth the risk. The lodge was near the main road so alot of traffic noise at nighttime/early morning. The smoke alarm in the lodge did keep going of one of the days without us cooking but the employee sorted it straight away.

Liked: The site was lovely, nice new toilet block and well looked after plots. Nice level pitches.
Disliked: Route access from and back to the motorway was terrible therefore unfortunately won’t be going back to the site
