Liked: This was our second stay at Newfold Farm, the first was in my roof tent on a hardstanding pitch and this a regular tent in the grass field. It's a very well-looked-after site: the shower/toilet facilities are warm, clean and more than adequate. The staff are all really friendly. No vehicles by pitches which makes for a nice quiet and uncluttered experience. I like it so much I have another stay already booked. Ideally for running, walking and general exploring of a very nice part of the Peak.

Liked: Staff were really helpful allocating us to a pitch. Facilities were clean. Nice on site cafe and bar. Great walks nearby. Free wifi was nice.
Disliked: Pitched were not the most level but that’s understandable on a field

Liked: Location is perfect for hiking, 2 pubs very close by, translation few mins walk.
The site shop was decent.
There was also a cafe but we didn't use on this occasion tho looked nice and seemed to be busy.Disliked: Hard standing pitches are small but OK. Quite expensive for the standard of toilets/showers as they are a bit shabby so you really are paying for location however I think these are Soon to be updated.
Perfect location for hiking into the peak district plus great cafe

Liked: Very friendly staff and great improvements to onsite cafe/bar. There’s a new second shower/toilet block and lots of EHU and hard standing upgrade work going on, which is great for future walking trips.
Disliked: A bit muddy due to upgrade work, but expected.

Liked: Really friendly site owners, helped us find a great spot - I used my rooftop tent on this occasion as they put us on one of their new hard-standing pitches. I'd have happily used a ground tent though. The location is gorgeous with 360 views and perfectly situated for fell running / hill walking trips (and the local pub of course). My mobile signal (o2) is terrible in the valley, but the sites free wifi worked perfectly and could get it up the field in the tent too.
Disliked: The local cockerals hahaha - only joking, nothing to dislike!
