Liked: John the proprietor was very understanding of my need to arrive in the middle of the night - my reason for staying was I needed somewhere to sleep after a night time endurance event - I ended up finishing the event a lot quicker so didn’t use the pitch in the end and just drive straight home - I really appreciated John’s kindness in giving the flexibility to arrive in the middle of the night though, had I needed it - thanks John - All the best Chris

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay. Perhaps you should have parked your campervan on the hard standing pitches as suggested. I had advised that the camping field that you chose had just been vacated by our pregnant sheep ladies who are now comfortably installed in the lambing shed awaiting the arrival of their lambs.
We are indeed a basic farm Campsite but not too basic, some campsites don’t offer toilets/showers at all!
The farm and the campsite have worked very successfully together for over 15 years, not a hobby. Most of our guest choose to come here because we are a proper old fashioned Campsite based on a farm.
Can’t please everyone.
