Liked: Relaxed farm site with excellent views over the valley. Pet lambs ducks and the farm terriers roam the campsite and it all adds to the ambience. Facilities are basic but clean and perfectly serviceable. The surrounding area is generally quiet with coast and South Lakes within easy reach.

Liked: Friendly welcome. Beautiful views over the valley. Lovely and peaceful. Sheep and ducks wandering around. Hot water in showers and for washing up with.
Disliked: Toilets, washing up and showers were a bit basic. Clean but basic.

Liked: Clean, stunning views, peaceful, and lovely staff! Camp site was not over packed and facilities beat that of most camp sites we have stayed.

Disliked: Shower was cold and barely any flow. All the facilities were a bit grubby.

Liked: Lovely place, liked the pod. Loved seeing the animals roaming about and it really makes you feel a part of nature. Lovely owner and communated well as we were arriving late.
Disliked: Few cobwebs in the pod.
No warning about the rooster so take ear plugs if you don't want a 4am wake up call!

Sorry about the shower, we had a new hot water system put in and typically the plumber came on the bank holiday weekend having waited over 6 months for him to fit it.
Only took the later part of the morning.
Thought everyone had gone, took a couple of hours to re heat and regain the pressure.

You critically say we are a basic farm Campsite and that is exactly what we state in our description. We are indeed a basic Farm Campsite. No frills. Sorry you thought us grubby ☹️
