Some sites in the Lakes are a bit faceless to just cram in as many people as possible, but not Moss Side Farm. It's a proper farm with inquisitive animals wandering freely, real character and in a beautiful location. We were visited by chickens, ducks, pygmy goats and a friendly little dog who was supervising them all. We stayed in a converted rail carriage which was much better value for money than many pods we've stayed in, as it had actual beds! Close by were basic yet sufficient facilities.

We arrived after 5pm meet and greet with Louise she was very lovely welcoming . told us the ins and outs of stay and took us to our yurt were we had exceptional views was extremely happy with our room it also had view of the stars in the night as it was open see through roof , woke up to amazing sunrise looking over the farm beautiful scenery wonderful farm showers were hot there was also a room where we could charge our phones , we went on long walks over looking infinity pools and breathtaking views ,
it is a working farm there was pigs ,sheep , ducks and goats . It’s great for family bookings there is lots to do and lots to see .
We had an amazing time and would love to book again some time soon 😊

The only thing we weren’t very happy about the toilets weren’t too close especially during the night but it was just a little walk to them .

Good views. Great location for a walking holiday.

Too many tents on such a small site. Hard ground made it very difficult to pitch a tent (tip: hammer stakes in sideways).

Rustic nature of venue, views are amazing.

Had a lovely spot in my van but then had to pop into Coniston. On return spot taken someone else (no blame attached). MIght consider numbered pitches.

Loved the wildlife, scenery, fire in pods, and Louise was a lovely host!

Loved all the animals and quirky little features of this place.
Beautiful scenery and surroundings with lovely walks from the farm.
