Second time I've stayed here. First as a solo traveller and then brought my partner.

Location is so pretty, fantastic views and in the heart of the lake District.

All the facilities you need.

On a working farm, stunning scenery, owner was lovely and went out of her way to help. The friendly dogs and cool russian ducks were an added bonus!!

Such a beautiful setting. The pod had everything you need. Would reccomend wholeheartedly.

Absolutely fantastic farm-based campsite. The host was unbelievably accommodating and generous when we ran into a bit of a sticky situation. The location is gorgeous with views down into the shallow valley below. Local walks are great too, Old Man of Coniston not far away at all. Would happily come back here and highly recommend to anyone else!

We stay at Moss Side every time we camp in the Lakes. We've walked in the local area for wonderful chutney in nearby villages, enjoyed sniffs and tailwags from the lovely pups, watched a number of sunsets over the hills, and loved the decor of fairy lights and paintings in the bathroom. Just an all-around nice site :)

the setting and peace and quiet. the cabins are unique and when the stove is lit warm abd cosy on a autumn evening. fairly basic facilities so don't expect fancy toilet blocks and showers.

there is no way of charging a phone or other device which is really inconvenient.

Peaceful rural location and wonderful views. Being close to the area we wanted to explore. Rustic rail pod provided basic shelter, inside light, warming stove and comfy bed, with washing facilities as one would expect on a working farm setting.
Warm welcome on arrival and availability of supply of firewood to purchase on site.

Privacy level of shower arrangements.
Litter left in pod from previous guests.
