Liked: The site was wonderful with lovely facilities that were kept very clean. It's clear Rebecca takes good care of the site with lots of decorations, plants and helpful signs. There was a huge list of things to do nearby as well as maps of nearby walks. Rebecca was friendly and helpful and happy to let us know about things to do in the local area. WiFi worked well for us even though we were the furthest away we could get.
I definitely recommend visiting the Ramsey Rural museum, it was great to look around and very interesting. The cake and tea in the tearoom was also amazing and the volunteers were very friendly.

Liked: We enjoyed our stay at Glebe Farm. We experienced a very quiet and peaceful stay. There is a lovely walk into the local village and circular walks through the countryside - which were well signposted at the site facilities. We loved the self serve shop and the chance to sample the farm produce. It wasn’t too far from larger towns which we visited.

Liked: Spacious grass pitches. Friendly welcome. Good location between many places worth a visit, e.g. St Ives and Cambridge.
Disliked: Heavy industrial traffic right next to the site all day (it is a big, working farm and the site is situated next to the service track). Wifi available but signal very weak to zero on the touring pitches. Wash basins are very small and obstructed.
Summer is when we harvest the cereals on the farm. We grow oats and make them into porridge, granola and oat milk which we sell in the honesty box shop. When the sun shines, harvest brings on more farm vehicle activity. The access to the farm is adjacent to one of the camping fields.
Campers can request quieter pitches and if a fast WIFI signal is important we can recommend pitches near the several WIFI antennaes across the campsite. We offer free WIFI which is usually an extra cost at other campsites. It is challenging and costly to cover the 2 acre campsite with full signal WIFI reception. We cannot guarantee signal from the large mobile phone providers. One person commented that Vodafone was weak but there does not seem to be problem with EE and O2 signals.
It is first time we have had a complaint on the size of wash basins. There are 3 ladies/gents sinks – 40cm (16in) across x 23cm (9in) top to bottom – a medium size. We are not sure what the obstruction is? Perhaps a soap dispenser which is one of them or the two taps at the either top corner? There is no shelf above the sinks and one can get ones face over the sink quite easily. There are hand dryers and also a free hairdryer in the ladies – both are away from the sink areas.
The Music Festival was out of our control and is nothing to do with Glebe Farm Caravan Park. The Music was over a mile away and it depends on the wind direction. The village monitor the noise every year.
These guests booked by Pitch Up. Pitch up write the website introductory page on Glebe Fam Caravan Park. We have no control over what they write - once the page is up, it is difficult to change and include a local festival.
The festival is a 20 min walk away, and last year was fairly quiet so we assumed 2023 would be similar. Unfortunately the wind direction moved around.
We notified as many guests as we could upon arrival about this local festival.
We apologised to these guests and gave them a complimentary free return for another time.
