Lovely site and friendly owners. Having our own dedicated toilet on the pitch was superb! Such an amazing site with superb views. Waking up to the noise of the birds, sheep and cows was so relaxing. I live in an urban area now but come from a very rural area so to be back in a farming heartland especially during hay harvest time was just incredible for me. We’d had a lot of stress before going away and this site was so lovely that we relaxed straight away. It has everything you need but the owners are happy to help if you need anything else. The pitches are huge and well spaced. We had an 8 person tent plus extension, the car and still had tons of room. There’s a fire pit on each pitch too along with a raised metal grill. Plentiful supply of water from a tap in the field which has really good pressure so no waiting 3 hours just to fill a cup! Everything was beautifully clean as well which was a real joy. A really lovely experience and we’ll definitely be going back.
