Nothing to dislike!

Easily changed from tent pitch to pod due to weather. Nice warm pod. Great facilities - hot showers were fab after walking in the wet and cold. Great views.

No Wi-Fi not overly bothered but no phone reception made it a bit more difficult to check on back home

I really like the views of the farm, they were beautiful and stunning. I loved how the showers have hot water aplenty. I loved the fact that there is a communal area with wifi, plugs for charging devices, a kettle for making a cup of tea or boiling water for hot water bottles, a fridge and freezer, a tv with comfy sofas if you don't want to brave the cold weather. The toilet and shower blocks were clean and you self clean after use.

Lovely campsite, very good facilities. Great location for Keswick or Ulswater ( and other surrounding fells). Owners are very accommodating, managed to upgrade to a camping pod on short notice.

Communal area

Firstly on arrival at reception I was met with negativity! It would appear that my dog was not welcome in the reception area! I observed no signs saying this so was. It off immediately by the ladies abruptness!
Secondly, I asked for my pitch to be as close to the toilet/shower block!!! We o don’t think they could have put me any further back from it!!!
The pictures on the website don’t represent the view that I had!
Thirdly! I was expecting some great local knowledge about where to walk with my dog locally but when I ask the lady she pointed out some very outdated books and maps and said unfortunately their supplies had not been stocked up as it was the end of the season. Maybe, it being the end of the season she was too tired to help a single female to make the most of her time away!

The site is very quiet even though there were lots of people staying there. The pitch was a great size, plenty of room for our campervan, awning and space for our trailer and still lots of room to move around. We loved the communal space and the use of microwaves, kettles and toasters and also the space undercover where we could use our gas stove.....bonus that we could stay lovely and dry in the rain😁 The whole site was clean and very tidy and the staff were extremely helpful and lent us an extension cable to reach the electric point. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend a visit and we will be visiting again

Lovely clean site, nice touch having the communal room with kettles and toasters. Great way to meet new people and share stories and recommendations of walks etc. Nice quiet site all campers were respectful. Will definitely be back.

Nice views, amenities on site are good. Easy to locate.
