Liked: We loved everything 😍. Quiet and well maintained site with plenty of greenery. Superb nice and helpful staff. Rest area was well equipped with fridges, kettles, and microwaves. There is nice under roof sitting space with camping stoves designed places. All bathrooms and showers were clean and tidy and water was amazing warm - big advantage when evening is chilly.

Liked: The site was spotlessly clean, including the toilet/shower block, and the pod was fantastic.
Really friendly staff and the whole place was extremely welcoming, especially with families. Oh, and there were peacocks!Disliked: –

Liked: Beautiful setting with stream running along side the site
Disliked: Our field had no showers we had to walk quite far to the shower blocks. We also like to park next to the tent and this wasn't possible so hard going for setting up and decamping. Also didn't respond to emails or call back when messages left.

Liked: Clean toilets and showers. Beautiful setting opposite Blencathra.
Disliked: When I arrived at 7.15 after a long day on the hill, I found reception closed. Despite ringing all the contact number advertised by reception, no one came. Luckily, a fellow camper was able to show me where to camp.

Liked: The location and facilities were great. Views from the field over the hills were amazing. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Very well kept site with a range of options. Shop on site to buy essentials was very handy. Close to a pub. Would 100% return.
