Lovely working farm
Campsite is very well looked after
Nice and spacious
Clean toilets and showers
Alpaca farm up the road is cute
Beautiful mountain views

Shop is only open short periods of time although there is a doorbell for needed.
We got a camp fire for £20 yet on the second night we couldn't pursue wood.
The fire kept the midges away at night.
For some reason we had alot flies in our tent.

Love gill head, beautiful location, lovely site, the kids all play together in the evening on the park and field, it’s so lovely and relaxing, honestly we have loved our stay here! There is a communal room for all to use that has fridge and freezer facilities, kettle and microwave for all to use! Also the showers are lovely and warm x

Flies, smell in toilets, price for pods (£70 per bare pod).

Good, clean facilities and very friendly staff. We had great time despite rainy weather. We strongly recommend this place 👌

Wonderful size site, not too big or commercial and surrounded by beautiful countryside in the shadows of spectacular Blencathra. Warm welcome, nice facilities and my daughter particularly loved the cows and lambs on site. Great location for exploring the northern Lakes, we'd definitely book here again.

The laundry facilities could do with an update or an extra machine, bit of a queue to use during wet weather to clean and dry mucky walking gear. Very useful to have though!

A fabulous, laid back campsite with great, really thought out facilities. The communal room is comfy and practical, and the under cover cooking area a really helpful place. Lovely warm showers too!

The walk is beautiful too, with their very own waterfall. loads for the kids to do in a great play area and inside space.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Toilets and shower clean.

I like everything about the farm. Been there few times already and it has always met my expectations

This time it was the mud but that's the UK weather issue rather than the farm
